"Adolescence," says Camilla Parini, "is that age on the threshold, poised between who tells us what to do and starting to ask ourselves what we actually want to do. Who do we want to be? With this work, developed together with girls and boys between the ages of 16 and 22, we wentə in search of the things we wanted to say to the world, in an attempt to try to measure that boundary that separates us from the world or unites us to the world. Our wish is, through a re-signification of gazes, to get back in touch with the traces of our adolescence, of that boundary place between being and not being, between no longer being, never having been, or not yet being. To the rediscovery of that sensitivity, that vulnerability and that subversive and revolutionary potential that belongs, by nature, to the age of adolescence."

Sentieri selvaggi is the new three-year project of the FIT Festival, which aims to give young people between the ages of 16 and 22 the chance to be the protagonists and players in a process of co-creation, to shape what they have inside and broaden their critical gaze on the world. The path involves the accompaniment of one or a professional artist, different each year, who will play the role of curator/tutor/guide, and what emerges from the shared work will be transformed into an artistic work that will be presented within the editions of FIT 2025, 2026 and 2027. The project gives the younger generation the opportunity to participate in cultural life in a direct way, sharing a path of exchange, comparison and research through an experience of artistic creation.
