Small Sentimental Universes invites viewers to observe the infinitely small, to discover that “everyday things hide secrets for those who know how to look and listen”.

Children draw birds that look like fish and fish that look like birds. From this poetic vision comes the subtle thread of the show: a world in reverse, where stars fall to the ground and peppers, onions and autumn leaves float above. One inhabits the “middle world”, between heaven and earth, where small sentimental universes can be built together. The character, with a gaze full of wonder and curiosity, finds himself in a dream, in a suspended place of light silences, shy smiles and gentle gestures.

Actors, directors and authors come together to realise numerous theatrical and didactic projects on universal themes such as racism, solidarity and respect for the environment, offering children and young people differentiated emancipatory stimuli. The main characteristic is that it has always been aimed at the young and the very young, while at the same time attempting to cross age boundaries and thus also involve adult audiences.
