Sala capitolare

Inspired by Antonio Catalano's “pedagogia povera”, the show Ecco il mondo! uses natural elements that stimulate the imagination: objects found, collected, experienced, that anyone can find walking in nature, moving in the world. Simple, material and primordial elements that light up a theatre imbued with a poetic delicacy. A journey in search of wonder, which reveals itself at every moment, in the eyes of those who still know how to wonder.

Here is the world! Let us allow ourselves to discover and rediscover it at every glance, in the imperceptible wonder hidden in everything. A creature is born. It takes its first steps, meets the earth, water, air and fire, without forgetting the invisible breath of life. It observes them, listens to them, tames them with kindness. Through his eyes, we too return to see: the whole universe is reborn in us. We find ourselves in a remote origin, which is renewed in the enchanted gaze of childhood, where time is suspended and the history of the universe is reflected in an infinite ritual.

An important artistic and cultural reality in the city of Lugano, capable of creating synergies that grow with the methodologies of the artists in the company's core group, enriched by the experience of collaborators from different countries. Actors, directors and authors come together to realise numerous theatrical and didactic projects on universal themes such as racism, solidarity and respect for the environment, offering children and young people differentiated emancipatory stimuli. The main characteristic is that it has always been aimed at the young and the very young, while at the same time attempting to cross age boundaries and thus also involve adult audiences.
