Would it be nice to chat about theater and music while, point by point, rediscovering the pleasure of creating something?Tricot Café is born!

The second event dedicated to knitting and cultural chat focuses on one of the masterful works by the great Russian composer Pyotr Il'ič Tchaikovsky, The Nutcracker. Based on the book of Nutcracker and the Mouse Kingby Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann, a great classic of nineteenth-century literature, it has been thrilling young and old for more than a hundred years.

Tricot Café was born from the idea of combining the pleasure of theatrical and musical conversation with the manual art of knitting. An opportunity to rediscover, stitch by stitch, the satisfaction of creating something concrete, in a context of cultural sharing. Knitting in groups is increasingly appreciated as a moment of sociability, capable of enlivening afternoons and evenings of people from different backgrounds and experiences. It is not only a creative activity, but an opportunity to dialogue, exchange ideas and carve out a regenerating break from daily life.

During the Tricot Café meetings, hosted within the cozy spaces of the LAC, people will talk about theater, literature, music and culture, reading selected excerpts and commenting on the proposals of the 2025/26 theater season.Participants will be able to be inspired by books, authors and food for thought arising from collective discussion, all accompanied by hot coffee and the relaxing rhythm of knitting needles. An invitation to experience culture in a different, creative and participatory way.
