Sala refettorio

Elisa Stanga, a therapist, nutritionist and creator of school projects dedicated to nutrition education, presents her book Cresci bene vivi meglio. A nutrition atlas for young and old (Ed. Fontana, 2025).

Grow Well Live Better is an ideal picture book for the whole family, designed for learning about healthy eating. A clear and accessible tool for understanding the principles of nutrition and applying them in daily life. There is comprehensive information in the book: what carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals, water and salt are; how to read food labels; and how to prepare balanced meals. It helps to learn more about the body and food "from the inside," to make informed and lasting choices. A book to experience together, with weekly menus, recipes, practical examples and language suitable for both children and adults, to transform theory into healthy daily habits.

At the end of the meeting, light refreshments will be provided by Migros: a sweet and savory sampling of suggestions for healthy snacks and breakfasts.

A mother of three, wife, therapist and nutritionist, in recent years she has dedicated her professional activities to the world of childhood, developing school projects aimed at nutrition education.
Curious by nature and deeply passionate about life, she has found her own ikigai-the authentic reason for existing-in her children, her work and her personal growth. Her love of food began as a child alongside her grandmother, who passed on to her the value of simple, wholesome food prepared with care and respect.
Motherhood taught her to listen deeply, rediscover herself and cultivate with renewed awareness her vocation for healthy and balanced nutrition. From this personal and professional experience, her project was born: to spread a model of conscious, accessible and sustainable nutrition for all.
Her connection with nature is an integral part of her identity: it inspires her, guides her and reminds her of the essentiality of the authentic values of life. For her, nature is life, just as real food is life.
Author of the book Grow Well, Live Better, she also carries out her mission through her Instagram page @crescibene_vivimeglio, dedicated to promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle that respects self and the environment.
