Yoga and piano: an inner journey between breath, movement and sound.

An encounter between music and yoga designed to accompany the body and mind in a profound experience of listening, presence and connection. Of well-being.

The vibrations of the piano guide a fluid practice of harmonious movements linked to the breath and the alternation of asanas (postures) and moments of stillness. Piano music becomes space, support and inspiration for an inner journey that aims to restore balance and awareness. Thanks to the immediate effects of music on the body and emotions, the experience becomes intense and transformative: the yogic journey is enriched, enhancing the feeling of unity and integration between body, mind and spirit.

Through pranayama (breath control) exercises and the guidance of music, the parasympathetic nervous system is stimulated, promoting a deep release of tension and a state of rejuvenating relaxation. The practice also includes moments of seated meditation, in which silence-after sound-becomes an opportunity to cultivate a more lucid and sensitive gaze toward oneself.

The meeting is designed to facilitate the exploration of one's inner world, reconnecting with the intelligence of the body and the wisdom of the heart.

We remind each participant to bring his or her own mat and to wear appropriate clothes for the practice.

A certified teacher with RYT 500 advanced qualification from Yoga Alliance, she has studied with several international masters, specializing in various styles, including hatha, vinyasa, yin and restorative. Each of her classes is an invitation to explore one's body and mind with respect and curiosity, emphasizing inner listening and incorporating, to this end, moments of meditation and breathing techniques during the practice.
In addition to yoga, she is deeply fascinated by the nature of the human mind, and over the years has delved into various Eastern philosophies and meditation techniques. Mindfulness meditation, in particular, has had a transformative impact on her, giving her greater insight. This personal experience led her to train as a Mindfulness Meditation teacher with world-renowned teachers Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, completing the MMTCP Mindfulness Teachers certification pathway through Sounds True, The Awareness Training Institute and The Greater Good Science Center of the University of California, Berkeley and the MMT Mindfulness Mentors certification pathway.
Her approach to teaching is geared toward creating an inclusive space where every practitioner can feel welcomed and guided on a path of growth and mindfulness.

Ferenc Nemes-Deák born in St. Petersburg in 1975 began studying piano at the age of 6. He then attended the conservatory, graduating in piano in 1994 with highest honors. His studies continued at Franz Liszt University, earning a degree in piano and chamber music in 1999.
During this period he performed numerous concerts with a varied repertoire from Baroque to Contemporary. He then began concert and music teaching activities, gaining extensive experience as a concert artist in Europe, the United States, North Africa, the Canary Islands and the Caribbean region.
He has been permanently residing in Switzerland, Canton Ticino, since 2007. Since then, together with his wife, also a musician and specifically a violinist, he has had the opportunity to be present artistically in other Swiss cantons, not only as a pianist, but also as a duo with a repertoire from classical to modern. Parallel to his piano career, he started his activity as a music producer and composer-arranger by opening his own recording studio and teaching music, both privately and at TASIS institutes (the American School in Switzerland) as well as at the Tesserete School of Music. Particular emphasis is on private teaching for adults where he has selected and developed a curriculum that allows a quick and comfortable approach to the piano.
Since 2019, he has been president of the "Collina d'Oro Music School" Association, where he also works as a piano teacher.
