Simon Grab, live electronics

A raw, anarchic and highly unpredictable performance, Pulse focuses on audio feedback and self-oscillating systems. In real time, Swiss artist Simon Grab creates soundscapes and noises of an imaginary posthumous environment, exploiting the no-input mixing technique in which the only instrument is a mixing board. During this premiere hosted by the LAC, Simon Grab expands his practice into a multi-channel immersive environment by placing several speakers around, within and above the audience. This will enable him to create a dynamic acoustic space, a new and engaging sound experience.
