The Orchestra della Svizzera italiana presents a rich musical programme divided into three main cycles. The OSI al LAC season features ten concerts between autumn and spring, featuring renowned international conductors and soloists, alternating between the great symphonic repertoire and more experimental programmes. With the Stelio Molo Auditorium temporarily closed for renovation, OSI in Auditorio is replaced by the new OSI al Docks season, held at the Sala Docks Lugano in Pambio-Noranco: a programme specially reimagined for the new venue, inviting audiences to imagine new, more sensory and immersive ways of listening, where music opens up possibilities just waiting to be explored. Finally, over the Whitsun weekend, the mini-season OSI a Pentecoste continues, designed for residents, tourists and an international audience, with innovative musical offerings distinct from the other seasons. The third edition sees the grand return of cello star Sol Gabetta, who previously headlined the Presenza Festival in spring from 2021 to 2024 at the LAC and is now set to present a new edition as part of OSI at Pentecost 2027.
