The Fondazione Informatica Per la Promozione della Persona Disabile (FIPPD), with which LAC edu has long collaborated, offers an evening dedicated to a great historical figure.

Letizia Moizzi, president of the Montanelli-Bassi ETS Foundation (a third sector entity), and Luigi Mascheroni, Il Giornale journalist and author of the book Indro Montanelli. Come un vascello pirata, 50 anni de il Giornale in the words of its founder (Rizzoli, 2024), will be guests at LAC to talk about Indro Montanelli and the volume dedicated to him.

Indro Montanelli (1909-2001) was one of the most important Italian journalists and writers of the 20th century. A Tuscan from Fucecchio, he was a foreign correspondent, war correspondent for Corriere della sera where he worked for forty years, and founder of the daily newspaper Il Giornale. Famous for his clear and direct style, he knew how to recount Italian history and politics with a critical and independent spirit, becoming one of the most authoritative (and often countercurrent) voices on the Italian journalistic scene.

The meeting will conclude with refreshments.

Letizia Moizzi, born in Rome in 1958. She has lived and worked in Milan since the late 1970s as a journalist. She has worked for Il Giornale, La Voce, l'Indipendente, La Stampa , and Tv7-Rai1. She has written only one book, or rather half a book, on euthanasia, of which she is a staunch supporter, being devoted to losing battles.

A graduate in Modern Literature from the University of Milan with a thesis in Medieval History, he holds a master's degree from the School of Specialization in Social Communications of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
He has worked in several newspapers, including La Prealpina of Varese, Lucio Lami's L'Uomo qualunque (1998), the culture insert Domenica of Il Sole-24Ore directed by Armando Torno (1999-2000), the online daily il Nuovo (2001); he has collaborated with the daily il Foglio (1999-2007) and since March 2001 he has worked at the daily Il Giornale, in the Culture and Shows editorial office where he follows, among other things, theamong other things, major cultural and film festivals, art exhibitions, book fairs, cultural controversies; between 2021 and 2023 he kept a successful column, Gli insopportabili, where he satirically portrayed the great Italian personalities of culture, politics, sports and entertainment.
