Giorgio Vicentini
Giorgio Vicentini was born in Varese on 16 August 1951 and lives and works in Induno Olona, Varese.
In 1974, the year of his first solo exhibition, he left his law studies to devote himself entirely to artistic activity. Trained in Milan, he orientated his research in the conceptual sphere, later choosing an autonomous language based on colour. He conducts History of Art workshops at the Degree Course in Education Sciences, at the University Master's Degree Course in Educational Services for the Artistic Heritage, Historical Museums and Visual Arts at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and for Young Thinkers in Varese. His works can be found in public and private collections in Italy and abroad. He is an artistic consultant to architect Ivano Gianola, the Emilia Bosis Foundation in Bergamo, and is the author of corporate brands that have established themselves internationally.
