The grandiose atrium has become the very emblem of the LAC, the image that most recurs to represent it, because it synthesises, at a glance, the thought and objectives that guided this project. A monumental space that the fully glazed walls offer to the public without barriers, in an immediate and continuous visual contact. An inviting reminder and at the same time the exact realisation of that desire for sharing that pervades every activity of the cultural centre. And so it is not strange that that light seems to reflect and spread to the other areas of the LAC, which are all connected from here.

On one side the Museum, on the other the concert hall, behind it the amphitheatre with the park, in front of it the large square. They all intersect in this transparent hinge that welcomes and offers the public, in the vast availability of its 650 square metres, all the necessary services: the ticket office, cloakroom, bookshop and catering areas. And which often turns into a performance and exhibition venue, where concerts, meetings, book presentations and art exhibitions are held, becoming, once again, a landmark for the city.
