Following *L’attimo prima*, presented during the 2024/25 season, the young Sicilian playwright and actor Salvo Drago returns to the LAC with a compelling and at times ironic reimagining of the myth of Hephaestus.

An intense and visceral monologue, delivered entirely in Sicilian: you don’t need to understand every word, because the meaning emerges from the sound, the rhythm, and the pauses.
Hephaestus is the god of fire and iron, but also a fallen god, abandoned to solitude. He works, builds, endures; he speaks of his forge, located in the belly of Mount Etna.
From the depths of myth and pain, his cry rises: amid lava, irony, and passion, a voice that burns like a volcano. A powerful, poetic, and unforgettable confession.
