During the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons, Carmelo Rifici conducted a cycle of in-depth studies on the history of theatre. An itinerary in four acts for the curious and enthusiasts who wish to come into contact with the world of theatre and deepen their insight, acquiring fundamental keys to understanding this discipline and its historical development.

From the origins of western theatre, which arose during the period of Ancient Greece, the path proceeds towards the Elizabethan theatre, to meet the development of a staging with the season of the bourgeois theatre, until reaching the contemporary, the new scene and the Italian directing theatre through the analysis of the historical personalities that made it great.
