The Franco-Swiss dancer Auguste de Boursetty and the Polish performer, singer and poet Alex Freiheit present Heavy, baby, a work that explores the darkness of adolescence. In an atmosphere of light and shadow, the bodies of the two performers navigate fragments of memory, contradictory sensations, absurd games and suspended impulses.
Blending dance, performance and live music, the images unfold like visions: sometimes ironic, sometimes unsettling, always traversed by bodies that overflow and escape boundaries.
Heavy, baby is a sort of lost tale, suspended between dream and nightmare. Two angels fallen from the sky find themselves in an abandoned music club, amidst echoes of the past, cracked laughter and seemingly innocent memories. Little by little, the boundaries between the tender and the monstrous dissolve, allowing the voices that continue to inhabit the ruins of adolescence to emerge.
