A table covered with objects from a bygone era. A boy, Giovannino, sets out into the world: he isn’t quite sure where he’s going or what he’ll be looking for, but he walks, meets people, loses things, and learns. And, without even realizing it, he grows up.
*Giovannino and What Will Be* is
a coming-of-age theatrical fairy tale, loosely inspired by the traditional story *The Body Without a Soul*, reworked by Italo Calvino, but transformed into a personal and symbolic narrative that speaks to children about the times they live in. A journey filled with objects that come to life, obstacles transformed into opportunities, and encounters that change one’s perspective on the world.
On stage, everyday objects, mechanisms, and materials become symbols and characters in the narrative, depicting worlds and states of mind with lightness, irony, and poetry.
A show designed for children who are growing up, who are learning to interpret the world through stories as well. Every object on stage opens up a possibility; every encounter leaves a trace.
A simple and direct tale that invites you to set out on a journey alongside Giovannino, with curiosity and an open mind.
