Before each of the four performances, Giovanni Gavazzeni takes the audience through a brief analysis of Pietro Mascagni's Cavalleria rusticana and Francis Poulenc's La voix humaine.
An in-depth analysis curated by an expert voice that will focus on some peculiar musical and historical elements of the lyrical diptych staged here in a production directed musically by Maestro Francesco Cilluffo, conducting the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana, and theatrically by Emma Dante.
