Now in its 34th edition, from 3 to 12 October, it will offer its programme in various venues in Lugano with artists from eleven countries: Afghanistan, Belgium, Ivory Coast, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, the Netherlands, Serbia, Spain and Switzerland.
Ten days, 29 performances, seven talks with the artists, Keep FIT with radio on the road and live broadcasts by the youth team, the Biglietto Sospeso social initiative, the intergenerational tandem Restez FIT! and the new three-year project dedicated to young people, Sentieri Selvaggi.
Another new feature is ZONA FRANCA, created in collaboration with La Soleggiata and the Raclette Festival, which we have defined as a neutral space where everything is still possible: music, talks, creative workshops, drinks and glances that pierce reality.
A cultural event dedicated to the contemporary, the FIT Festival brings to Ticino the creations of some of the most interesting artists on the Swiss and international theatre and performance scene.
We are delighted to announce that FIT has won the Swiss Performing Arts Award from the Federal Office of Culture. The ceremony will take place in Fribourg on Friday 10 October.
