Bianca Berger, a young dancer and choreographer from Locarno, returns to the LAC with her new work, *Tamdom*—a performance that weaves together mathematics, biology, and dance, translating a mathematical model that describes certain biological processes related to Alzheimer’s disease into choreography.

Following *Bi-tà*
, presented during the 2024/25 season, Bianca Berger continues her artistic exploration by using mathematics as a source of inspiration to compose movements, create choreography, open up abstract imaginaries, and articulate reflections that bridge practice and theory.
Tamdom
does not aim to depict Alzheimer’s disease, but draws inspiration from certain concepts associated with it to present them in an abstract form, from a different perspective, inviting the audience to be fully present in the here and now through a sensory and perceptual experience.
The performance was selected for PREMIO 2026 and ATLAS – ImpulsTanz 2026.
