The young Locarno-based dancer and choreographer Bianca Berger returns to the LAC with her new work, Tamdom, a performance that weaves together mathematics, biology and dance, translating a mathematical model describing certain biological processes linked to Alzheimer’s disease into choreography.

Following Bi-tà, presented in the 2024/25 season, Bianca Berger continues her artistic exploration, using mathematics as a source of inspiration to compose movements, create choreography, open up abstract imaginaries and articulate reflections that move between practice and theory.
Tamdom does not aim to represent Alzheimer’s disease, but draws inspiration from some of its concepts to present them in abstract form, from a different perspective, inviting the audience to be present in the here and now through a sensory and perceptual experience.
The performance has been selected for PREMIO 2026 and ATLAS – ImpulsTanz 2026.
