Superar Suisse and the LAC are presenting a concert that highlights the value of music as a tool for inclusion and growth.
Founded in Lugano in 2015 and inspired by the El Sistema
music education model, Superar Suisse invites the public to experience the impact of music on the community through an event that celebrates diversity and promotes integration.
In partnership with Superar International, the association engages 5,600 children in seven European countries, many of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds or have a history of migration. For these young people, access to classical music is a rare opportunity. The name “superar,” which means “to overcome” in Latin, reflects the spirit of the project: helping children overcome challenges by developing artistic skills and a strong sense of community.
Superar Suisse not only contributes to the growth of its young participants but also promotes essential values such as integration, diversity, and mutual respect through the universal power of music.
