An evening that weaves together storytelling and music: astrophysicist and science communicator Luca Perri takes the audience on a journey through science and science fiction, accompanied by the unforgettable music of John Williams, performed by the Milan Symphony Orchestra. An experience that combines knowledge, emotion and imagination, celebrating a saga that has changed the history of cinema and our vision of the future.

In 1977, the world was catapulted into a distant galaxy, populated by exotic planets, futuristic technologies and a mysterious force that binds every living being. With Star Wars, cinematic science fiction ignited the imagination of millions of people, as well as the curiosity of scientists.
How much truth is there in science fiction? Can we really build a lightsaber? Do planets like Tatooine exist? Is it possible to travel through hyperspace? And, above all, to what extent does science draw inspiration from fantasy? A journey through science and science fiction led by Luca Perri, a doctor of Physics and Astrophysics and science communicator, accompanied by John Williams’ iconic music performed by the Milan Symphony Orchestra. Epic and timeless, Williams’ compositions have not only given voice to the Star Wars universe, but have become an integral part of the collective imagination, capable of evoking emotions and visions that go far beyond the screen.
