Two bicycle mechanics set to work repairing what appears to be an ordinary bike. But as soon as they begin their work, reality warps, catapulting them into a parallel world. There, their bicycle transforms into a futuristic “spacy bike,” kicking off an adventure that’s as wild as it is fascinating. The bicycle becomes the centerpiece of a techno-industrial symphony. In this fantastical dimension, they find themselves immersed in situations as absurd as they are surprising: spoked wheels resonate like celestial gongs, mysterious magical forces are invoked to solve unsolvable riddles, and extraordinary communications are established via a radio with no frequency... With boundless humor and creativity, this musical theater performance for two performers and a bicycle invites you to enjoy a unique experience where reality flirts (blends) with the imagination. Let yourself be swept away by this unique story, a spectacular journey that promises to captivate and amaze every audience member!

A Swiss experimental music and contemporary percussion group with a strong interest in musical theater and stage composition. The duo stands out for its originality and creativity. The chemistry between its members shines through their distinctive personalities, their outlandish ideas, and their well-aimed and skillfully measured sense of humor. “It’s better than an MTV show!” declared the famous composer Matthew Shlomowitz. The duo, which specializes in the works of composers such as George Aperghis, Thierry de Mey, and Thomas Meadowcroft, was formed and has collaborated with leading figures such as Pierre Sublet and Simon Steen-Andersen (HKB Bern), Françoise Rivalland and Christian Dierstein (IMD, Darmstadt). Their collaboration with composer Matthew Shlomowitz marks an important turning point. Currently, the duo is focusing on stage composition, creating performances such as: *Ils perdent le nord?!*, *The Third Extended Wheel*, and *Salut George!*. Romanesco Duo has performed at the Uberschlag Festival (Hanover, Germany), as well as at the Klimahalle Festival (Bern), Alternatiba & Plein air Voltaire (Geneva), Katapult (Thalwill), and Open Space International Musik Darmstadt (Germany).
