Passatopresente unfolds as a cohesive journey, in which the various compositions are linked by a sonic dramaturgy inspired by the theme of the sacred in its many forms. The works, written specifically or reworked for the concert’s ensemble, interweave instrumental writing, voice and electronics in a continuous dialogue between musical gesture and sonic space. Through timbral transformations, resonances and temporal shifts, the electronics create a bridge between the different moments of the programme, shaping the concert as a single act. Passatopresente brings together composers from different generations, offering a perspective on contemporary music that spans languages, genres and various European geographical areas. In this encounter between different sensibilities, artistic paths and cultural contexts, the individual works contribute to the construction of a single musical journey.
