With *Blade Runner Live*, the LAC presents a new screening experience featuring live music. Ridley Scott’s acclaimed film, which earned two Oscar nominations, is presented in the *Final Cut* version on the big screen in high definition. Vangelis’s soundtrack, a fundamental element of the film’s identity, blends electronic, ambient, and orchestral elements, helping to define one of the most recognizable soundscapes in contemporary cinema. 
Performed in its entirety live for the first time, in sync with the images, the score comes to life through the interpretation of The Avex Ensemble, recreating the timbral complexity and atmospheric impact of the original soundtrack.
