Following her triumph at the Salzburg Festival in the role of Abigaille in *Nabucco*, conducted by Riccardo Muti, Italian soprano Anna Pirozzi has established herself on the most prestigious Italian and international stages. Her recent engagements include *Un ballo in maschera* in Madrid, Vincenzo Bellini’s *Il pirata*, and Giuseppe Verdi’s *I due Foscari* at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, *Aida* in Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples, and *Manon Lescaut* at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. In 2016, she made her debut at several leading international opera houses: at La Scala in Milan as Lucrezia Contarini in *I due Foscari*, at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich as Amelia in *Un ballo in maschera*, at the Royal Opera House in London as Leonora in *Il trovatore*, and at the San Francisco Opera as Maddalena in *Andrea Chénier*.
