The traditional comedy show by I Legnanesi is back: the Colombo family takes centre stage in Intelligenza artigianale, a new show filled with memories, laughter and nostalgia for a bygone era, when you’d look up a number in the telephone directory and life’s decisions were made entirely independently, without the need for outside advice.

To mark International Women’s Day, Mabilia decides to give Teresa Ambrogio a present: Ambrogio, a robot butler designed to simplify household chores and solve every day-to-day problem. Whilst the newcomer initially wins everyone over with his efficiency, his zeal soon turns into increasingly intrusive meddling: having learnt the family’s habits and desires, Ambrogio begins to decide for himself what he deems most appropriate, replacing human judgement with the logic of his own calculations. Surprisingly, it is Giovanni who is the first to recognise the danger, championing the value of ‘artisanal intelligence’: that which is built on experience, common sense and humanity. Amidst knife-grinders, basket-weavers, clog-makers and other trades of yesteryear, Teresa, Mabilia and Giovanni will embark on a new, hilarious adventure, brimming with music, comedy and twists and turns, which entertains the audience and gently invites them to reflect on the relationship between technology, tradition and human relationships.
