For International Women’s Day, Mabilia decides to give Teresa Ambrogio a robot butler designed to simplify household chores and solve any everyday problem. While the newcomer initially wins everyone over with his efficiency, his zeal soon turns into increasingly intrusive meddling: after learning the family’s habits and preferences, Ambrogio begins to decide on his own what he deems most appropriate, replacing human judgment with the logic of his own calculations. Surprisingly, it will be Giovanni who is the first to recognize the danger, championing the value of “artisanal intelligence”—that which is built on experience, common sense, and humanity. Amid knife sharpeners, basket weavers, clog makers, and other trades of yesteryear, Teresa, Mabilia, and Giovanni will embark on a new, hilarious adventure—full of music, comedy, and plot twists—that entertains the audience and gently invites them to reflect on the relationship between technology, tradition, and human connections.
