The legendary British prog band led by Ian Anderson is coming to the LAC for the first time with *The Curiosity Tour*, bringing its extraordinary blend of rock, folk, jazz, and classical influences to the stage.
Formed in 1968 in Luton, north of London, Jethro Tull quickly made a name for themselves on the British music scene thanks to an original blend of blues, rock, and folk. Following their debut album *This Was* (1968), they released seminal albums such as *Stand Up*, *Benefit*, *Aqualung*, and *Thick as a Brick*, which cemented the band’s international reputation. In the 1970s, Jethro Tull became one of the most important live acts on the rock scene, alongside names like Led Zeppelin, Elton John, and the Rolling Stones.
Over the course of nearly sixty years, the band’s lineup has changed several times, but Ian Anderson—composer, singer, and flutist, universally recognized for bringing the flute to rock—has remained its charismatic leader. With over 30 studio albums, 9 live albums, and more than 60 million records sold, Jethro Tull continues to perform around the world, bringing to the stage music that transcends genres and generations.
Today, alongside Anderson, the lineup includes David Goodier on bass, Jack Clark on guitar, John O’Hara on piano and accordion, and Scott Hammond on drums.
A concert to rediscover the unmistakable soundscape of one of the most original and enduring bands in rock history.
