Ale and Franz, the quintessential Italian comedy duo, return to the LAC with a brand-new show celebrating their thirty-year career: yet another Capitol’ho in their history.

In his director’s notes, Alberto Ferrari writes: “We’re going back in time, yes. But only to move forward. With a mix of ‘classic’ and less classic sketches, scenes that seem to have come straight from yesterday and others that seem to be taken from tomorrow morning, Capitol’ho tells our story: our habits, our fears, our daily blunders, and our eternal attempt to appear better than we are. The audience doesn’t just watch: they participate, breathe, react. With discretion, with respect, but always at the heart of what’s happening.
Ale and Franz don’t explain life. They observe it. They imitate it. They take it apart. And they give it back to us a little twisted, a little clearer, and decidedly more entertaining. Because in the end – between one laugh and the next – you realise that theatre isn’t meant to change the world, but it helps enormously in understanding it. And is that not enough? So, if you’ve got it, this is Capitol’ho.”
