By popular demand, the poetic, universal and timeless Slava's Snowshowreturns, continuing to enchant millions of spectators of all nationalities, genders and ages like no other show in the world.
Emotions, laughter, poetry and lots of sweetness fill the eyes and hearts of all spectators amid the cold wind of the Russian steppes that unleash magical snowstorms: this is Slava's Snowshow, the unmissable show dedicated to everyone, young and old alike.
Snowshow is a genre unto itself, managing to be as spontaneous and magical as the first day it was performed, transporting adults to a world of wonder and amazement typical of childhood.
Its brilliant creator, the Russian SLAVA – winner of the Olivier and Time Out Awards in London, the Drama Desk Award in New York, the Stanislavsky Award in Moscow and the Critics' Award from the Edinburgh Festival – is considered “the best clown in the world” and loves 'theatre full of hopes and dreams, desires and nostalgia, shortcomings and disillusionment. A theatre that defies definition, the unique interpretation of its actions and any attempt to limit its freedom'.
Throughout his artistic career, SLAVA has been inspired by great masters such as Leonid Engibarov's sad clown and the refined Marcel Marceau, but also by the delicate comedy of Charlie Chaplin and the great Totò.
