Japanese pianist and composer Hayato Sumino turns 30 this year, at the height of a career that has seen him establish himself internationally for his technical, communicative and inventive skills. With over 1.3 million subscribers to his YouTube channel called “Cateen” – where he shares his interpretations and original compositions – Sumino has become a leading figure on the global music scene.
