Éténèsh Wassié's voice combines tradition and experimentation, reworking the legacy of Ethiopian azmari music with an innovative approach. In dialogue with guitarist Mathieu Sourisseau and double bassist Sébastien Bacquias, the fusion of Western instruments and Ethiopian rhythmic pulsations gives rise to a unique combination of past and future, Africa and Europe, sound matter and spirit.
