Dance writer Emily May speaks with choreographers Chiara Bersani and Yasmine Hugonnet about how their work questions the sometimes limiting structures that artist-parents and differently abled bodies have inherited and continue to navigate. 

Heritage is often seen as something inherently valuable. While aspects of it should be preserved and protected, there are also elements that can be engaged with critically and learned from.  
The talk will explore how new frameworks might be created, and what it could mean to build a more diverse and inclusive dance inheritance for future generations.
