After nine shows with amazing sets, Gardi Hutter is taking a radical new step with her latest work: Switzerland's most famous clown takes on the empty stage and confronts – with her unmistakable comic-philosophical humour – nothingness, which in reality is not nothing, but holds infinite potential.

With her stubborn humour and extraordinary physicality on stage, the clown embarks on a new journey: from the first spasm to complete transformation, she traverses the fabric of existence with the lightness of play and the depth of reflection. After nine creations centred on the theme of death – an archetype of the comic tradition – Gardi Hutter now turns her gaze to birth, to the moment when nothing becomes something, zero becomes one, silence transforms into gesture.
gardiZERO is a wordless show in which opposites coexist and paradoxes flourish, alternating buffoonery and depth, emptiness and creation, lightness and intensity. In a world overloaded with noise, information and busy schedules, Hutter invites the audience to pause at the origin, to contemplate the moment when everything begins and to celebrate the wonder of continuous movement. A celebration of imagination: clownish, grotesque, poetic.
