CATS, the record-breaking musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is coming to the LAC. Captivating music, spectacular choreography and extraordinary costumes blend elegantly and imaginatively in a unique theatrical experience, created by the genius behind masterpieces such as Il fantasma dell'opera, Evita and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Inspired by T. S. Eliot's famous Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats and winner of a Laurence Olivier Award, seven Tony Awards and three Drama Desk Awards, CATS is a timeless classic that has broken every record: from London's West End to Broadway, it has enchanted over 73 million people worldwide, becoming one of the longest-running and most beloved musicals of all time.
Children and adults alike are equally captivated when the Jellicle Cats gather amid the silvery reflections of a glittering rubbish dump for their annual Ball. On a magical moonlit night, cunning and irresistible characters such as the magical Mister Mistoffelees, the beautiful Victoria and the enigmatic Macavity compete for the gift of a new life. Andrew Lloyd Webber's melodies are unforgettable, and the choreography is spectacular, gracefully blending feline movements and human traits. One of the most intense moments in the history of this musical, the song Memory, performed by the cat-diva Grizabella, is sure to move the audience and continues to thrill generations of spectators.
