PFM Premiata Forneria Marconi returns to the LAC to celebrate its successful partnership with the Genoese singer-songwriter, a tribute to the live events starring Fabrizio De André and PFM in concert.

PFM recalls the glorious tour of '79 and that collaborative performance, unpublished until then, in which the band's progressive rock was combined with the masterpieces of one of the greatest Italian songwriters, Fabrizio De André. Among the pieces that will be re-proposed with new arrangements there are also some taken from La buona novella [The good news]. Two exceptional guests will share the stage with PFM: Flavio Premoli (one of the founders of PFM) with the unmistakable magic of his keyboards and Michele Ascolese, Faber's historic guitarist.

De André said: “Our tour was the first example of collaboration between two completely different ways of conceiving and performing songs. An unrepeatable experience because PFM was not just a group of excellent musicians called together for the occasion, but a band with an important history, which has changed the course of Italian music. So, one day, they brought all of this and put it at my service".

PFM Premiata Forneria Marconi is an eclectic and exuberant musical group, with a unique style that combines the expressive power of rock, progressive and classical music. Founded in 1970, the band achieved a prominent place on the international scene, entering the Billboard chart (with Photos of Ghosts) in 1973 and winning a gold disc in Japan. In 2017, PFM was awarded position No. 50 in the Royal Rock Hall of Fame of the world's 100 greatest artists; in 2018, they received the prestigious award as International Band of the Year at the Prog Music Awards UK.
