Award winning, internationally acclaimed Italian actor and director Elio Germano and composer, musician and sound designer Teho Teardo provide the voice and music narrating the sublimity and ineffable mystery of Dante’s verses in canto XXXIII of the Paradiso.

In the final canto of the Divine Comedy Dante Alighieri is faced with the conundrum of a human being attempting to describe the indescribable. This chasm separating us from "supreme wonder" is staged here in a unique, almost physical experience for the viewer who is led into the presence of the inconceivably immense.
Accompanying Dante’s compelling and “eternal” language is the strange and unpredictable music of avant-garde composer Teardo in Simone Ferrari and Lulu Helbaek’s imaginative and ethereal production, visual poets who are equally at home crafting Olympic ceremonies, theatre performances and shows and who bring with them a drop of the magic of Cirque de Soleil. The result is something indescribably enchanting and marvelous that goes far beyond any conventional way of performing Dante through its use of various technological and theatrical approaches.
