The show tells one possible story among many, which begins in a city, inside an attic where there is a cat named Sornione. It continues with the dream of a jacket with three mementos in its pocket: a smooth pebble, a red leaf, and half a walnut shell.
Nadine’s story comes to life thanks to an actress who draws her adventure in real time as she searches for those three small objects. With each drawing, the narrative takes shape: a single stroke of chalk is all it takes to find yourself in a crowded train station, amid the sounds of a departing train, or catapulted into a landscape of ruins, amidst the waves of the sea… All the way to her childhood home.
The story moves between reality and imagination, interweaving narration and live drawing on chalkboard panels. This technique is not merely aesthetic but substantive: the line accompanies and constructs the dramatic structure, allowing the story to come to life in real time, as if it were being “written” and traced before the audience’s eyes.
