Each in his own way, Ferdinand Hodler and Filippo Franzoni were key figures in the development of modern art in Switzerland in the late 19th and early 20th century.
For the talk organised in the context of the exhibition Ferdinand Hodler – Filippo Franzoni. An artistic partnership, four experts will focus on specific themes related to their work.
This will be followed by a round table discussion exploring aspects connected to the development of the art establishment in Switzerland, in what were two key decades for the history of art in this country.
