Winner of the Ticino edition of the 2018 Manor Prize, Vera Trachsel (born 1988), presents recent works created specifically for the occasion at MASI. While experimenting with various materials, the artist uses sheets of paper - painted, folded, torn or crumpled - to create an ephemeral world in which nothing is ever definite, but in constant transformation.

 

Established in 1982, the Manor Prize is one of Switzerland’s most prestigious contemporary art prizes.
